HARRY M. REYNOLDS graduated from high school in Washington, D.C. Thereafter, he attended Howard University and Purdue University obtaining a BSEE degree in 1960. He undertook graduate work in engineering and business administration at USC and UCLA. He was employed in various positions in the engineering field until 1970 when he entered UCLA School of Law obtaining a Juris Doctor degree in 1973. He has been employed in the field of law since that time. His first employment in law was as a prosecutor in the District Attorneys Office, County of Ventura. Since 1975, Mr. Reynolds has practiced in the private sector specializing in criminal law and personal injury law. At present, he is the senior attorney in the Law Offices of Harry M. Reynolds, 106 S. Robinson Street, Tehachapi, CA. Mr. Reynolds specializes in Criminal Law and Personal Injury Law. He was formerly a personal Injury defense lawyer and defended cases for the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit District. Mr. Reynolds has been licensed to practice law in the following courts: all courts in the State of California, including: California Supreme Court and California Courts of Appeal; United States Supreme Court; 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; U.S. District Court, California, Colorado, Mississippi, and Oregon; and U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Reynolds is or has been a member of the following organizations: State Bar of California, SB# 064515; California Trial Lawyers Association, Kern County Bar Association, Board of Directors, Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce (2000 - 2002, Kern County Air Pollution Control District Variance Hearing Board (2002). Mr. Reynolds has received the following honors and awards: Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in California; Judge Pro Tem, East Kern and West Kern Municipal Courts; Dean's Honor Roll; Moot Court Honors Program; Judge, Los Angeles County Science Fair, Equal Justice Under the Law Award. Mr. Reynolds has lived in the Tehachapi area since 1982 although he had his law practice in Bakersfield until 1997 when he moved the practice to Tehachapi. He is married to Becky Reynolds and they have seven (7) children: Scott, Robyn, Cindy, Stacey, Ryan, Ricco and Mark. He does not have much time for hobbies, however, he likes to go fishing whenever possible and he enjoys traveling in Mexico. He enjoys movies especially the older ones with great actors like Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn. One of his favorite movies is: The Grapes of Wrath.
